The lovely Sabrina from Retail Therapy had a new sofa delivered this week. She and her hubby love their new furniture piece but are in need of a new coffee table to match the sofa's cool lines. Sabrina shares, "I was thinking of the Room and Board Gibson Coffee Table in walnut, but just can't justify $1,000 for a coffee table."
The Gibson, pictured here, rocks a retro, midcentury modern vibe with its curvy outline. It features a spacious tabletop, which satisfies one other requirement Sabrina had: that the coffee table can fit a board game.
I've rounded up a few choices for Sabrina. Check them out when you read more.
My top choice for Sabrina is this Handcrafted Walnut Midcentury Table ($550). It's about half the price of the Gibson, and since every table is custom-made to order, she can choose what dimensions work for the space and even specify a more curvy shape. Since the small furniture shop responsible for this table is based in San Francisco, she can get it delivered for free directly to her home.
For something ready-made, the Circular Eames Coffeetable ($750) is a possibility, as is the Drexel Declaration Vintage Cocktail Coffee Table ($450). Have any other great coffee table sources for Sabrina? Share them in the comments!
