Shoe Storage Ideas

I don't know about you, but my shoe storage situation is not a pretty sight. I have a cubby that hangs from my clothing rod that's overflowing, as well as shelves stacked in my closet, and on top of that my shoes are always piled up on the floor of my closet. Each seems to be vying for my attention, and I always forget about the pairs that are stuck at the bottom of the pile. So I've been on the hunt for a shoe storage solution that'll get my shoes out of the closet and out on display, right where I can see them. As it turns out, there are plenty of clever ideas. The hard part is choosing one!
