Inside Fashion Blogger Rumi Neely's Serene LA Pad

Thanks to the interior design stylings of Homepolish, we bet you've never seen a home with a more serene vibe than that of fashion blogger Rumi Neely. From full-on home makeovers to just a bit of a room refresh, Homepolish's interior design services are a no-brainer.

You'll recognize Rumi Neely from various fashion campaigns, party photos and, of course, FashionToast.com. With her coy gaze, gauzy dresses and sky-high heels, her personal style has elevated her blog to superstar status. So when she reached out to Homepolish to help redesign her home we jumped at the chance to meld aesthetic ideas. With the help of West Coast Creative Director Orlando Soria and our designer Amy, Rumi's home was transformed from a stark white space to a "half bungalow, half fluffy minimalist" nest. A true aesthete, the girl knows how to work a clean look, and now her style has grown from the closet to her whole home.

Orlando's first step was to create a quiet and relaxed bedroom by painting the walls a light gray and choosing a slightly colder — almost purple — shade for the drapes. Taking inspiration from a Matin Zad photograph, he built layers with restrained colors and really focused on making the room a sanctuary. In the dining room, an old ceiling light mount was replaced with this amazing AllModern chandelier, a beautiful St. Frank textile weaving was added and rugs were layered to keep with the bedroom's relaxed and inviting idea. The plants add soothing color and AllModern dining chairs give the room a laid back feel. Needless to say, Rumi and her very fluffy cat Kumo are extremely happy with their new home.
