While birds have been alighting all over home accessories for a good time now, I'm not showing any signs of tiring of this flighty creature feature. One place where I think it's been underutilized is in the kitchen. One of our favorite ways to design is to incorporate nature into our home, or to bring "the outdoors, in". I've seen some very lovely bird decor items. I like the idea of using them in the kitchen. I do love that Fitz & Floyd dinnerware - beautiful! It's funny too because I really don't care for birds in real life (they scare me a little).

You know, despite my avatar I'm not usually a bird person - but the trend has been growing on me. They are graceful little things, I especially love the "free bird" towels, birds in cages make me so sad!
