Lighten up. Flat-woven rugs are ideal for Summer because their shallow construction keeps things cool, and they're easy to clean. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be as stylish as your heavy wool Winter rugs. There are plenty of stylish flat-woven rugs to add a little oomph to your home this Summer, and year-round. I've had my eye on the Pottery Barn Tracy Kilim Rug for months, and seeing as it's currently on sale, I might finally make the plunge.
