Roundup: Elephant Rage

When I spotted, and fell hard for, these two cute white elephant figurines that look peculiarly similar (left, West Elm Ceramic Elephant, $29, right, Jonathan Adler Elephant Figurine, $24), I figured I'd see if the large mammal was leaving its big footprints elsewhere in the interior design world. As it turns out, there are plenty of elephants in the room, and I've found myself with a new mania. The simple shape of an elephant translates very well to modern design and everyone from Charles and Ray Eames to West Elm to Jonathan Adler have picked up on that — making Ellie a must-have in any contemporary home. Here are a few more elephant-inspired décor items I've spotted:

My mom's sorority's symbol if you will is an elephant so she has lots and lots of them around the house. I might have to pick up a few of these for her =) Thanks Casa!

I love elephants, but never thought of decorating with them! I think those little figurines and the teapots are so cute.

i love elephant decor! in argentina having one in your home next to the front door is supposed to bring good luck and prosperity. but the trunk must be facing up.

I have one ceramic elephant that was bought on our honeymoon. And I have a table lamp that has elephants on it as well.
