Do You Believe in Haunted Houses?

I've never seen a ghost, but I know that some houses I've been in definitely feel spooky. Whether it's simply poor feng shui or actually spirits that are spooking me is anybody's guess. However, some of my friends swear that they've seen ghosts in houses they've lived in. Have you?

We lived in a pretty active home growing up. On one occasion I laid down to take a nap (the door to the bedroom was closed and the windows were shut). I dozed off pretty quickly but woke with a start after feeling someone sit down on the edge of the bed and blow on the back of my neck. It still gives me the chills just thinking about it!

yes, my in laws house is haunted and once we stayed in a motel that was haunted. I woke up in the middle of the night to see a man dressed in all black and a top hat standing next to the bed, thinking i was dreaming i rolled over and went back to sleep, a minute later my husband started making a terrible noise like he was choking/screaming and when i leaned over and shook him a little he said there was a man dressed all in black with a top hat on sitting on him and strangling him. We could not have possibly be dreaming of the same person at the same time.

My house in college was built around the turn of the century and it was TOTALLY haunted. One time we were tipsy and decided to go "ghost hunting" and all of the pictures from upstairs were fine, but every single picture from the basement has those "sprit marks" in them! That and a whole host of other weird incidences, I totally believe it was haunted.

i work at a bed & breakfast in an 1890's victorian home...i have a hard time believing it's old enough to actually be haunted, but i swear i have seen ghosts when i've been there, both during the day and at night...we only have four rooms, so there are a lot of times when i'm alone because all the guests are gone for the day and i often see what i think is a woman wearing a blue and white-striped shirt...nothing evil-haunted, but just maybe some people that potentially stayed there a long time ago and wanted to re-visit after passing on?

My roommates and I in college all saw things happen around our house. Literally things would lift of the ground/counters etc. and move across the room.

Yes! Weird things used to always happen in one of the past houses I live in…one time my bf and I were watching TV in the bonus room and suddenly I could hear water running. I walked down the hall (which included like 5 stairs) and the bathroom sink was on full blast…weird, I think so!
