Did You Take a Summer Vacation?

Even if it's just for a few days, having the opportunity to get away from your responsibilities and enjoy some R&R can really help you to recharge. Whether you spend your Summer vacation tucked away in a cabin in the woods, or exploring a new city with your closest friends, it's always time well spent. Were you lucky enough to take a Summer vacation this year, or do you have one coming up this month?

i took 2.5 days off last week to go to the vans warped tour and help my friend move.

I went to London for a week (got back on August 1st!) and it was really fun, I finally realized my dream of travelling to Europe. Wasn't much relaxing though, we walked from morning to evening! Good workout :)

I took two weeks off to get married across the country. I guess that counts as a vacation, although I didn't get much rest and relaxation!

I am leaving for my diving vacation in Belize in two weeks and I can't wait. Although Shark Week did put a bit of a damper on my excitement, I'm going to pretend that I didn't see it and try not to hear the Jaws theme in my head as I descend into those crystal blue Caribbean waters.

Sort of. I took 4 days off work (plus the weekend was in between, so it made 6 days in a row off work), but it was mostly spent at home. Two of the days I went to Delaware to meet up with some friends. We just hung out, went out to eat, went swimming, and went to the mall. We had a blast though. Since we live hours apart, we don't get to see each other often.
