Flipping through photos from Steven Volpe's interior design portfolio, I happened upon this charming dining room. I love how the wall-sized bookshelf adds an unexpected element to the room. It also instantly relaxes the space:  a bookcase in the dining room encourages guests to linger, flip open a volume, and read for a bit.
