Plant Your Driveway With Grass or Sedums

Casa Quickie: Plant Your Driveway

Don't have room for a garden? Think again. There's always some small place where you can add a bit of greenery to your home. Apartment dwellers can try adding a container garden, and homeowners with limited green space can get creative with patios, fence edges, or driveways.

I was reminded of this simple fact when I strolled by this driveway in my neighborhood the other evening. I adore the smart way the homeowner added greenery to her curbside view by planting her driveway. For something like this, choose shorter grasses or plants that are reasonably hardy (sedums are always a good choice). Have you tried something similar at your home?
