The Pink Swan Project 2011

Modern furniture showroom SUITE New York has officially launched the second installment of the Pink Swan Project. Nineteen of the world's leading designers were asked to put their spin on designer Arne Jacobsen's iconic Swan chair before they're auctioned off, during the month of October, on Charitybuzz.com. The best part of the project? One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the auction benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The Swan chair has beautiful lines and provided a clean, blank slate for each of the designers. While everyone did a fantastic job, these 10 hot seats really stood out as our personal faves. Check out the designers who made the cut and their respective inspirations for the task at hand.
