Photos of Living Room Curtains

When I moved into my apartment over a year ago, we were left with a simple set of brown curtain panels. I'd always intended to swap them out for bright white panels, but it took me about 12 months to do so. When my roommate moved out in November, and took an armchair of hers along with her, it was time to give the living room some updates. I put a set of armchairs and a little side table there as a temporary place holder, but the scale was definitely off.

Voilà! I picked up a new set of white curtain panels at Pottery Barn, moved a white bistro table by the window, and corralled a couple of turquoise vases there to feed off of my peacock blue walls. Now it's a destination where I can sit and have my morning coffee, eat dinner in the evening, or do paperwork. Baby steps . . .
