Opening Friday, Beastly, a modern-day take on the "Beauty and the Beast" fairy tale, is generating plenty of buzz, especially among the tween and teen set. Alex Pettyfer plays a vain New York teen who's transformed into a hideous monster (or perhaps a tattooed San Francisco hipster bike messenger, it's hard to tell the difference) who must find true love to win back his former looks.
