Photos of an Architect's DIY Wedding at the Nine in San Francisco

I recently attended the wedding of my friends Crystal and Troy. Troy is an architect and Crystal simply has terrific taste, so I knew the night would be a sight to behold. The couple planned the event themselves, with a little assistance from friends along the way, so the décor was full of thoughtful DIY details that truly made it memorable. "It wasn't a DIY wedding," as Crystal said, "but a do-it-with-the-help-of-everyone-you-know wedding."

The design was sophisticated in a clean, earthy, understated way. Nevertheless, it left me feeling inspired (and a bit teary eyed), not only about wedding design, but interior décor as well. I'm sure you'll discover plenty of inspiration too when you check out my photos.
