Yesterday I visited the Kips Bay Decorator Show House on New York City's Upper East Side, which benefits the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. In its 39th year, the showcase features the work of 22 top interior designers, landscape artists, and photographers in a striking, neo-Federalist home, which once belonged to diplomat and art connoisseur John Hay Whitney. From Amanda Nisbet to Brad Ford to Wayne Nathan, the interiors of the historic home were stunningly updated by some of my favorite designers. If you live in the tristate area, you can visit the show house through May 26 (and I highly recommend it). If not, check out my preview for a peek at some of my favorite rooms.
