Flipping through photographer Anna Kern's portfolio, I stopped to take a second look at this charming kitchen/dining room space. While most of the room is quite utilitarian, the flippy tulle pendant shade really gives the room a sense of girly pep.

You could easily re-create this effect by simply using a gathered tulle skirt, or yards of tulle fabric, strung over a basic hanging pendant shade. It would look especially charming in a little girl's room, or a powder room. Would you try it in your home?
