Before and After: A Rockin' Patio

This was our patio area before. Not too bad, but could definitely be better. We have a great flagstone patio to the left and wanted to connect our vegetable garden area.

Here is the final product. We added a brick border and more than 2,000 pounds of flagstone and 18 cubic feet of rock.

Looks beautiful! Great work. I love the flagstones but I don't think they'd last through the freezes and thaws of Canadian winters.

Thanks so much for all the lovely comments. We are planning a few other things--additional beds and a stone fire pit. Will definitely share pictures when complete.
