The pantry in our kitchen is very small, so I installed this spice rack over the stove. It's actually the ribba picture ledge from Ikea. I wrote, "let's spice things up," with a chalk marker and added labels to the jars using water-slide decal paper.

hi, can you post the link for this waterslide decal paper you speak of? i've never heard of it and would like to do this with my spice jars :)

The only thing is, herbs lose their taste, when kept in light. Please keep them in the dark. ;-) But it looks great!

I too loved this project! I understand the annoyance of having a tiny pantry, in my case no pantry at all, just deep cabinets. So, I went to Ikea's website to price everything. I'm pretty sure these are the jars, (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40113613) and this is the shelf, (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/search/?query=ribba+picture+ledge).
