Modern Feminine Home Decor

I'm completely inspired by all of the beautiful home designs in Hus & Hem; however, this sweet, light-flooded room takes the cake. For me, this room is the perfect combination of a girlish, feminine color palette and modern design. The gray wallpaper balances out all the stark-white pieces, poppy prints, and bright colors utilized in the accents. I like to think of it as a more modern, yet equally comfortable, shabby-chic design or a more progressive, old-school Laura Ashley look without all the florals. The light that comes in speaks for itself, but all of the fabrics look so plush and luxurious when they're bathed in this brightness. I especially love that big, fluffy sheepskin rug under the white sleek nesting tables.
