When I asked Tom Delavan about what inspired him about the film, he said, "I love Woody Allen. To me, Manhattan and Interiors are two of my favorite films. I love that he is really able to capture the mood of a city, he usually does it with New York obviously, that’s like the city that people know him for. But if you look at the opening montage of Manhattan, it’s such an incredible kind of love letter to New York. I feel like this movie is sort of the same thing to Paris. It’s very cool; he manages to get current Paris [and] the plot of the movie allows him to hit on different time periods in Paris and that was really interesting. I just thought it was a cool way of seeing the city."
