Midday Muse: Are You Going to Park?

As you know, I'm heading out on Friday to set up my own San Francisco park for Park(ing) Day. But Park(ing) Day isn't just happening in San Francisco, it's happening all over the world! Keep an eye out for parks that seem to pop up overnight, because one might be showing up in your town on Sept. 19. I will be creating one of 4 Park(ing) Day spots in Syracuse, NY. We will be in the Armory Square area, and all four will be unique, temporary art installations! Mine is based on an exhibit opening at the Everson Museum of Art called "Marie Antoinette: Styling the 18th Century Superstar"... I have spent the past two days with a hot glue gun creating a life-size Marie to go in the spot so people can pose as or with her... Should be an amazing time!!!
