While I enjoy picking up a new home object as much as the next person, I find that there's something even more charming about an object with history. The frayed edges, the washed out, sun-bleached fabrics, and the obviously well-used and well-loved lines of this furniture all hint at a history that I can only ponder. Who sat in this chair? What conversations took place?

Herve Leger
"What old bugger farted in that chair?" comes to mind
1Another question might be "what's growing in it?"
I love old stuff but this chair is gross.
2lol esix
I still love a good garage sale or second-hand store find. Maybe not this particular chair, but a well-kept, sturdy furniture find is the bee's knees.
3I don't like it at all. And that blanket-yikes.
4Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
5It looks like something you'd see on the side of the road with a "free" sign on it!
6whose bacteria out of all the throngs that sat in this chair are now on my pants?
7There's vintage, and there's lovingly used, and then there's "Who bled to death in this chair?"
Seriously, yikes.
