Sometimes a garden, such as the manicured hedges at the park of the Versailles castle in Versailles, France, can look even more charming when it's covered with a thin frosting of snow. While our gardens may be hibernating through the Winter months, that doesn't mean they don't hold their own joys and quiet beauty.
What do you find beautiful about a snowy garden?

Versailles is one of my favorite places!
This picture is wonderful...is there any way to know where to get it?
1wow, that's beautiful!
Versailles would look good in snow, frost, sun... whatever
2Everything is more magical with snow on it!! I can't think of anything that doesn't look pretty with snow on it - even some of the most boring objects look good with snow on them.
What I find beautiful about a snowy garden is the crisp white, or slightly blue tinted blanket covering the flora and fauna; the peacefulness and muted sounds of life within. The imagery of powdered sugar dusted over mounds of gingerbread hued rocks. Or frosting spread on a cakelike bench.
Yep I love the magic of a snowy garden.
