Midday Muse: Awash in Whites

While the cool, soothing pastels and whites in this photo diverge wildly from the color palette in the house featured in my Balinese Dream slideshow, they both share the use of one material — mosquito netting. I love the way that this most practical material can produce such romantic results.

Love love love it - I've just moved to an apartment (my first place!) and I'm just out at sea when it comes to choosing which of the 1393938 ideas I have will make the final cut. Your posts just make it that much harder! I hadn't even thought of netting but now I'm not going to be able to get it off my mind!
