Midday Muse: Admiring Malandrino

While perusing FabSugar's superb coverage of 2008 Spring New York Fashion Week, I came across this stunning gown from the Catherine Malandrino show. I love the split pea-esque shade and the button detailing at the neck. How could you use this as decorating inspiration?

Everyone has great suggestions. I was thinking curtains or a table cloth/linens. It would also be a nice color for an accent wall in your house.

Oh and like in a toropical local beach house type place, it would be amazing as interior doors. The dress pretty much as-is. Oh, and I'm sorry for the over posting, its just I'm soo facinated by this dress !!!

You know what else, this dress as a totally minamized to a smaller size would be like the perfect hand/guest decorative towel for a bathroom. You know, like seriously highend bathroon, but AMAZING!!!

OMG, you know what else it would be amazing for? a shower curtain ! look at it, it's flow-y nature would be phenominal. The buttons of the collar would be the rings

I could see a sofa/love seat / one-seater with the flowing fabric from the sides and the back anf the bottom part of the front with the row of buttons, such as the detail in the coller in the dress..

I agree, chancleta-- a pillow would look fab, or even green curtains with button details.

I absoulutly love this colour! What would I do with it...probably make it a bedspead or a cover for my duvet with orange pillows because I'm trying to decorate the bedroom around Fiji...with sunsets and deep vibrarant colours like this green and purples and pinks and oranges and yellows.
