Why Manny Pacquiao Purchased Diddy's $12.5 Million Party Pad

The big fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. isn't until tomorrow, but that didn't keep Manny Pacquiao from spending his whopping $100 million paycheck. The welterweight boxer made a winning bid on a seven bedroom, eight bath mansion in Beverly Hills, CA, listed at $12.5 million — a drop in the bucket for the multimillionaire!

Pac-Man purchased the move-in-ready, 10,000-square-foot home fully furnished, from the art and appliances to the stocked wet bar. He's reportedly pushing the sale through as quickly as possible so family from his native Philippines visiting LA for the fight can stay there.

The party pad belonged to Diddy in the late '90s and early 2000s (aka the Puffy and J Lo days) and has undergone some seriously luxe upgrades since then, including a $200,000 home theater.
