Love It or Hate It? Wal-Mart Bamboo Chair and Ottoman

This Wal-Mart Eco-Friendly Tre Bamboo Chair and Ottoman Set ($299) is made from bamboo — a sustainable material — using a bentwood technique, and is styled after Eames designs. I think it's pretty good looking, but then again, it is from Wal-Mart, which many of you may find controversial. What do you think? Would you buy it?

I'm surprised something this cute & eco-friendly would come from Wal-Mart. Although, seriously I doubt I'd buy it cuz it is from Wal-Mart.

I do like the design, but I also agree that it looks uncomfortable! That, and I don't step foot into Wal-Mart because I'm snobby like that. ;)

Its got nice lines, but yeah...its still Wal-Mart...I probably would not buy it but more because I prefer things with some softness when it comes to sitting! However, I will say that if Wal-Mart sells these, perhaps more people that are not already environmentally-aware might become slightly more so, whatever it takes, I say...whatever it takes!!

I'd probably buy it if it wasn't from Wal Mart. I'm glad they have more eco-friendly options at Wal-Mart now, but that alone doesn't overcome all of Wal-Mart's deficiencies.

It looks miserably uncomfortable to begin with and I'm short so my legs would hit this in an awkward place. Yech.
