Love It or Hate It? Shred Bed

Pro skater Chad Knight has made his bed, and now he's gonna profit from it. His Shred Bed (inquire for price) features a headboard and footboard made of skateboards. It seems like skateboards are everywhere in the design world these days (see here and here). Would you sleep in a Shred Bed?

It isn't *too* bad, since the boards are unpainted. But it looks like it was made out of tongue depressors.

I agree, it's probably ok for kids but the mattress is ugly and the wood should be painted and have some life or something.

The skateboard concept is great, but I think the frame looks too plain and squared off, which doesn't go with the headboard and foot-board. Maybe if the corners were rounded off it'd look better.
