Love It or Hate It? Sarah Palin Change Pillow

This Palin Change Pillow by artist Lauren Frances Adams is part of the Pro/Con Political Craft exhibition at Rebus Works gallery in Raleigh, NC.According to her artist statement:

Utilizing visual humor, Adams recalls typical domestic situations to explore political vacillations and permeability of red-versus-blue mentality. Adams is particularly interested in presenting situations that examine American consumerism, nationalist military defense, and political identity.

i actually have politically charged things in my home - all depends on the presentation. that said this doesnt even look like her.

Maybe it would have been better if it was a poster or framed. Pillow just looks cheesy.

Ditto to what lawchick said. I don't mind bringing politics into the home - historical campaign posters can look great framed - but I don't think it works as well on a throw pillow or with contemporary politics, and this particular one is just not very attractive. I wouldn't like a similar item with Obama/Biden/Clinton/etc., either. That is an interesting idea for an exhibit, though - right down the road from me, I will have to check it out.
