Love It or Hate It? Monochromatic Bathroom

While this bathroom is certainly chic and beachy, the seagrass/sand tones of the room are a little overwhelming. Are you a fan of the monochromatic palette, or do you like a little color in your WC?

it's a bit 'hotel bathroom' to me. i'd prefer a free standing bath, chaise lounge, peonies and dresser sink anyday!

Bathrooms are my favorite room to do monochromatic color schemes.

No thanks. There should be a little color even if it was a small painting with a small touch of color with the earth tones. I think looking at a bathroom this way for a long amount of time would bother me. So I would never have it exactly like that one.

This particular monochromatic interior is awful. Boring and uninspired. Generally, when it comes to a monochromatic palette, I prefer tone-on-tone color harmonies (colors from the SAME color family). It's provides more depth, and it's more provocative. Having different TEXTURES of the color adds to the complexity (in a good way).
