Hah...when I saw "charlie dog" I started to get thrilled...could someone have read my mind and produced a portrait of my beloved Airedale Charlie? This is cute, but yeah. I'm not even totally AGAINST mass produced art, but if I buy it, it's because regardless of it's origin I have a story that goes with it or some sort of connection.

I'm not a big dog lover but there's something about this painting that appeals to me. I think it's the way the dog longingly waits for his/her master to come back. He looks lonely and sad!

love the idea, but hate the idea of a generic, store-bought print. one of my few home design snobberies...there are just so many great indy artists out right now! you could totally find something wonderful in the same price range that was an original, or at least a limited edition. still, love that pooch & would totally put him somewhere unexpected...like the bathroom!
