Love It or Hate It? Busy Mansion Playroom

This playroom, in a turn-of-the-century Minneapolis mansion, looks to me like a piece of Mackenzie-Childs pottery come to life. I bet you can guess what I think of it, but I want to know how you feel about it: love it or hate it?Source

Not for me, thanks - waaaaaay too visually overstimulating. Not to mention, this room has virtually no growing up potential - it would have to be completely overhauled, top-to-bottom in a few years when the kiddos don't want to pretend they live in a circus tent.

It's a super cute playroom, but I don't know if I'd want anything quite that out there in my real home.

This is awesome for a play room. I would love to have my kids (if I had some/when I have some) have a room like this to call their own. Its very playful and looks like a lot of fun.

i actually really like it - i don't know - usually style like this i consider to be a bit over the top but for some reason it's whimsical and i like it.

I like everything in it, but I'm getting a bit of a weird, horror-movie-with-clowns sort of vibe looking at the picture. The room looks like it's a lot of fun, it's all just a bit overwhelming.

Completely agree. However there are parts of it which I love and would have elsewhere:I like the striped wallpaper on chunks of the ceiling if the rest of the room was plain.Also weirdly the sofa..... is ultra cute!!xI'm a big fan of day beds too. I definitely want one when I get my own house, however maybe slightly more subtle! ha x
