It's no secret that Kirsten Dunst is an arbiter of style. I'm always eager to see which casual, offbeat apparel she appears in next. So, it comes as no surprise that her home is equally as hip and unique as her wardrobe.
Dunst has put her 2,062-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, midcentury, Nichols Canyon home on the market for $1.7 million. Once you get past her massive gates and state-of-the-art security, you're greeted with the inviting Hallworth Designs retreat. The interiors are a succinct blend of comfortable luxuries like heated floors, pitched ceilings, and exposed beams, which parallels her relaxed style. You'll find midcentury and traditional furnishings throughout in an understated palette — very mature and restrained. It manages to look very in vogue despite the lack of trendy pieces. I can't quite put my finger on what's so stylish about these digs, so you'll have to see photos for yourself when you read more.

Wow. A celeb's house that is not full of crap. . . that is very refreshing!
1I like some of the architectural elements in the home (both interior and exterior). I have reservations about some of her furniture and accessories (but those are non-permanent elements).
2Its very understated! I dig it its simplicity but it seems a little dark in some areas.
3Pretty underwhelmed, actually, by her decor and the house itself. The exterior was great though.
4Even though I am not a fan of mid-century personally I can still appreciate it for what it is. The writer says "... I can't quite put my finger on what's so stylish about these digs...". I can: It doesn't look "decorated" or styled @ ALL. If this home has been done by a professional designer, it was a darn good one in making the place seem to have evolved. I have a feeling Kirsten D. was able to quietly collect pieces that worked well together simply by just loving everything she acquired along the way when she bought the property. She did a great job!
As for the tag on this joint... in this market... seven hundred K must have be added value [?] for the actor's name tattooed on this house, cuz, if stripped of K Dunst "aura" it would not be worth more than one mil square, sorry.
5Wow she has good taste! This looks so much nicer than most celeb houses!
Granted I'd feel a bit lonely on my own for 2.5 bathrooms, but if my friends moved with me that could be fun!
6It seems funny to say this but I'm surprised that she's "only" listing for 1.7 mil. 1 to 2 million dollar houses are a dime a dozen in many parts of California.
7It's nice.
8she had a lovely home
