Kate Bosworth Sold Her House . . . and Surprise, It's Gorgeous!

When you think of what you know about celebrities — their style, their personalities — sometimes their homes match up, and sometimes they don't. In the case of Kate Bosworth [1], the Hollywood Hills stunner that she recently sold for $2.4 million [2] hits the nail on the head. With one glimpse at the three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home [3], you know it exactly reflects the actress's laid-back, impossibly cool style [4]. Factor in the open layout and a mix of classic and eccentric pieces, and you wonder why she ever wanted to sell (although her recent marriage [5] explains a lot). Lucky is the person who scooped it up.

Front Entrance

Talk about a first impression. The actress's main entrance is pretty much a checklist of everything done right. Potted plants? Check. Welcome mat? Done. Cozy bench? Of course.

Living Area

Be still, our hearts. Kate's living area is just about killing it. Can we talk about the perfectly placed firewood, the striking horse photo, and the sheepskin throw tossed on the couch? And that's just the first seating area. We haven't even gotten to the incredible yellow-patterned wallpaper, gold-rimmed coffee table, or fabulous concave side chair. We could go on (and on), but you get the picture.

Kitchen and Dining Space

Add this to the list of envy-inducing celebrity kitchens [10] and dining areas. Airy and open, it has plenty of counter space plus double sinks and a dark dining table that pairs nicely with a vibrant rug. Just think of all the fun dinner parties this place has seen.

Spare Rooms and Bath

If there's one thing that ties the entire home together, it's gorgeous windows that provide plenty of light. From the office with its on-point bookshelves and desk space to the spare bedroom (complete with a versatile white pouf!) to the crisp bathroom, these bright spaces speak for themselves.

Master Bedroom

Can we all have a room with french doors that open to a stunning patio? In what we can assume is the master bedroom, it's all about the bohemian touches (that rug! the plants!) mixed with more elaborate pieces (have you seen a more dramatic bed frame?). And the nearby hallway can teach us a thing or two about styling open shelves.

Patio and Pool

As stunning as her home is, we wouldn't be surprised if the carefree actress spent most of her time outside. I mean, one look at that lap pool surrounded by bamboo and the breathtaking views of the Hollywood Hills, and you'd be a fool to turn your back.
