Denise Richards has put her traditional 5,600-square-foot house in Hidden Hills, a luxury gated community in Los Angeles, on the market for $4.25 million, according to the LA Times. It has five bedrooms, including a master retreat with a sitting area. The property description lists:
Graceful foyer entry with sweeping staircase, gleaming wood floors, rustic stone floors, expansive living room with soaring ceilings and cast stone fireplace, great room accented by fireplace and library bookshelves, gourmet country kitchen with imported tiles and Carrera marble, state of the art stainless steel appliances, sun-filled breakfast room opens to kitchen, stately formal dining room features charming bay window and wainscotting, master retreat with comfortable sitting area, large walk-in closet, spa-like master bath with island tub and fireplace, five spacious bedrooms with private baths, inviting upstairs office, expansive grounds over an acre of mature landscaping and trees, [and] pebble textured pool and spa.
Richards has apparently listed the property for about $100,000 less than she paid for it — further evidence of this uncertain real estate market. If you're looking for a New England style "country" house in Los Angeles that's decked to the nines in shabby chic and leopard print toilets, then maybe this one's for you.

She has a really nice house. She must need the money to be selling it for less now and not waiting for the market to come back up. I liked her show but it got cancelled i think i was the only one to watch it.
1All those damn legal bills she's gonna have to cut back somewhere. She'll probably get a smaller house and ask for more child support.
2Let's just hope whoever buys the house didn't watch the show of hers where the dogs are pooping and peeing all over the house. Unless the carpet has been replaced, I can't imagine the house smells very good.
3I do NOT see $4.25 million!
4I really don't like it that her house is considered "shabby chic". It's pretty freakin nice to me!
5i like/love about half of the rooms! and the other half i do not care for at all~
6I agree, half the rooms were great - but some really let the place down. Not sure it's quite worth the price tag!
7Love the exterior of house. Inside needs some update. Love the fireplaces and hardwood floors. The smell of animals may be alarming to buyers. Good luck with sale.
8Wow! Denise Richards has no style when it comes to decorating. And if she hired a decorator then she should NEVER use them again, and Denise should never recommend that designer to anyone either.
