Mslewis, I think the thing to take away is that you can still achieve a sense of irreverence and sophistication without being so over-the-top — or over your budget. P.S. The orange walls with pink poodles was for the Barbie Dream House so that one's definitely a little bit fantastical!

For some reason, I have never liked Adler. Perhaps because he was such a b!tch when he was a judge on that Bravo design show. He's also very effeminate, which turns me off. (I don't mind gay but fairy is best taken in very small doses.) I also think those 10 commandments are basically silly and don't really apply to the normal person. Really . . . orange walls with PINK plaster poodles?? Come on, people, that's totally tacky. It's possible to think out of the box without looking like trailer trash.
