CasaSugar: Tell me about how you first got involved in interior design.
Jeremiah Brent: I have always been fueled by creativity. I grew up immersed in different types of art, painting, and interiors but, at a certain point, needed a new creative outlet. I went down to a local toy store one weekend, bought every transformer toy I could find, brought them home, disassembled, and rebuilt them all. This quick exploratory stint in assembly taught me early on about movement and connectivity — that’s how I taught myself to build furniture. What began as a little hobby turned into a growing passion and eventually successful business. The transition into interior design was a natural one for me. Homes and interior spaces are the ultimate blank canvas and often some of the most unique ways to express creativity and individuality.
