Today is the first day of Spring and we're taking a look at all the budding relationships in Hollywood! Ryan Reynolds surprised us last month by popping up on the South African set of Safe House with a new lady, Agnes Fischer, and musical pair Chord Overstreet and Taylor Swift kept close during a hockey game in LA. Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz have taken their spicy romance on the road while Ashley Greene and Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill may be giving it another go in NYC. Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn shocked us with news of their possible love connection and Sienna Miller has been cozying up to British heartthrob Tom Sturridge. Vanessa Hudgens parted ways with Zac Efron over the holidays and found herself hanging with her Journey 2 costar, Josh Hutcherson. Olivia Wilde is coming off the breakup of her marriage but she seems to be working through it in the company of the one and only Ryan Gosling. Ashley Greene wore a brand-new pair of festive green pants to celebrate St Patrick's Day in NYC with Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill. The Twilight star is in the Big Apple enjoying the holiday and shooting her latest Mark cosmetics campaign. Work may help Ashley to keep her mind off her recent split with Joe Jonas or perhaps she's busy rekindling an old flame with Jared. He's apparently been busy with the starlet set, considering he was recently rumored to be texting with Ashley's LOL costar Miley Cyrus. Ashley's also been spending time with another of her main men, her dad, who is on the East Coast with her. Ashley's not the only one taking a short hiatus from the Vancouver set of Breaking Dawn, as Robert Pattinson heads to LA for appearances on MTV and The Tonight Show later today.
Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill has swooped himself up a proper castle in his home state of Tennessee for $1.8 million. The 7,411-square-foot, five-bedroom, five-and-two-half-bath home is brand spankin' new, located just south of downtown Nashville. Propped up on a hill, it should offer lots of privacy for the shaggy-haired pretty boy, not to mention those five bedrooms. It's got sort of a Craftsman-meets-Tudor-meets-Frank Lloyd Wright thing going on, which I don't quite adore from the exterior. But the inside does have beautiful bones, like rich hardwood floors, fancy stainless steel appliances, lots of stone, slate, marble — the works. It also has a massive wooden wine cellar, which I totally covet.
In April, Rolling Stone took a video tour of each of the Followills' homes, and back then Jared was living in a small fixer-upper '50s home. So this is definitely a step up in size and fanciness, but I wouldn't necessarily say newer is better. In full bachelor pad style, he had zebra-print sheets and some faux taxidermy in his bedroom, and a big flatscreen for his Playstation 3 habit.
