CasaSugar: What inspired Living in a Nutshell?

Janet Lee: I have lived in a series of nutshell-sized spaces measuring 750 square feet or less for over a decade and after years of trial and triumphs, I've finally finessed the art of living large in tight quarters. I wanted to share my style and storage tips with others who are space-challenged and started my design blog to reach out to the online design community.

A few years ago I was moving into a brand-new rental space in lower Manhattan and I wanted to document the design process from day one. That was when [my website] Living in a Nutshell was born.
