How to Install a Rain Barrel

Installing a rain barrel is easier than you might think. It's a great way to reclaim water in your yard.

Step 1: Create a level surface. We used blocks to lift the rain barrel off the ground since the spigot is very close to the ground. Step 2: Mark where the gutter needs to be cut so water will flow into the barrel. Step 3: Cut the gutter. Move barrel into place. See more at Designing Main Street.
