I love the site Curbly for all of its wonderful DIY projects. This video podcast that Curbly produced shows you how to dye Easter eggs with some very natural ingredients — such as onion skins and red cabbage. I love the way that these naturally dyed eggs look, so much more varied and vibrant than store-bought dyes. Take a look at the video to see how to make these lovely eggs in your home. Egg-cellent!

GUESS
I can't wait to color eggs.
1That is amazing but soo time consuming!!
2I hate to color eggs. I guess it is because I am not artistic in no way so my eggs always look terrible!
3If you use the wax drip method, you can also just warm the egg and smooth the wax over the shell. This gives the egg a sheen and really makes the colors pop!
4Love this!
5I love this! I hate using commercial products to color eggs, I think it's ridiculous to get those beautiful organic free-range eggs and then use chemicals on them, because the egg shell is porous.
6Way cool! But it would take way too much time to be considered practical.
7If you add a tsp of oil to a cup of dye, you get a really beautiful marble effect.
8Neat. Thanks for the video.
