Highlights From My Room & Board Tour

The folks at Room & Board recently invited me to the San Francisco showroom to walk through the new 2009 collection and hear about some special pieces. I was pleased to hear that the collection is 85 percent American-made, and really impressed with the quality overall. The showroom is also massive, and full of inspiration and envy-inducing work. I particularly loved the silhouette of this Spun Light Floor Lamp ($1,479); it looks glamorous even set against a concrete wall. To see more the highlights of the tour, check out this slideshow.
