This Ohio Family's Violent Halloween Decor Was Removed After Controversy

You expect to see houses decked out with ghostly decor every Halloween season, but one family in Parma, OH, took it to another level. According to WOIO, realistic dummies looked more like a gruesome murder scene — they were impaled, stabbed in the throat, bound in plastic wrap, and even crucified upside down. While some argue it's harmless fun, others took serious offense since the house is located just a block away from an elementary school, causing children and concerned neighbors to speak up.

WOIO confirmed that the family had a change of heart and decided to take down their Halloween decor.
