If there's a design and decor enthusiast on your holiday shopping list, there's no better place to head than the bookstore. A bona fide design fiend, I will admit that there are few things I love more than poring over a coffee table book filled with photographs of gorgeously-styled interiors. Proof of that is in the stacks of shelter publications that form a circumference around my bedroom and living room. This year there were dozens of releases from some of the most acclaimed names in the interior design world, so there's plenty to choose from.
I've rounded up a few of my favorites, so you can skip the browsing. Photographer Todd Selby's The Selby Is in Your Place ($35) takes us into the maximalist, eclectic homes of noted authors, musicians, and artists. American Fashion Designers at Home ($65), released in conjunction with the CFDA, gives us an exclusive look into the quarters of more than 100 top designers, including Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, and Donna Karan. And interior stylist Selina Lake's Romantic Style ($20) is a definitive guide to creating feminine, floral, and frilly interiors.
