The new NBC show Parenthood has won me over and it's partially due to the sneak peeks I get into the Berkeley homes — I kinda like watching my 'hood on the tube. While Crosby's houseboat is pretty hip and Adam's home is perfectly stylish, it's the baby girl's digs that make me drool. Julia and hubby Joel share quite the swanky pad with their daughter Sydney. A mix of comfort, fun, and practicality, the house is perfectly balanced between sophistication and playfulness.
As the family convenes around the Bradford breakfast table, we get an opportunity to glance at the customized Eames chairs, a moose IKEA rocker (not shown in the photo) and the fabulous pendant lighting. A home outfitted for a small girl, the sunny room also has an easel and play kitchen that will easily keep youngsters entertained.
