The CW's new drama series Life Unexpected is a bit of a guilty pleasure, in part because I'm really loving Cate Cassidy's home. She lives in a cute Craftsman-style house which she's decorated in a mostly traditional style with a calm palette that's really quaint. In last week's episode, Cate turned her attic into a bedroom for her daughter Lux, who'd recently come into her life after being in foster care since birth. She hung posters of Lux's favorite bands on the walls, outfitted her desk with essential school supplies, and accessorized with cute lamps and other youthful décor.
