Eco Wedding Favor Wrapping Ideas

Create a Two-in-One Wedding Favor by Wrapping a Trinket in a Cloth Napkin

There are an overwhelming number of ideas for wedding favors to be found in books, on blogs, or through your wedding planner. Whatever you decide to offer to your guests as a token of your thanks and remembrance of your special day, consider wrapping your trinket in something that will stand the test of time. Instead of a paper bag, takeout box, or other easily thrown away container, simply wrap your favor in a cloth napkin or scarf.
Of course, wrapping gifts in fabric isn't anything new — furoshiki, a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth, uses origami-like wrapping techniques to create totable presents. You don't have to get that intricate with your favors, though. Just place them in the center of a napkin, gather up the edges, and wrap the bundle with ribbon or burlap twine.

For a more fashion-savvy crowd, using scarfs instead of napkins is a great option, too. I've rounded up a variety of napkins to get you started.
