Do You Throw Parties in Your Home?

Some of us were born to be party planners, and others...to be party guests. It's a nice gesture to throw a bash for your friends though, even if it's not your favorite thing. If your idea of haute cuisine is Chef Boyardee, then it's okay to order in or just have chips and dip along with some delectable drinks. Regardless, everyone loves a house party!

I throw parties in my home at least twice a month. Now that its the holiday season I am getting geared up for LOTS of fun little parties. Also to all of you ladies who said "my place is too small for a party" think again, I live in a studio apartment! A party doesn't have to mean a million people it can be an intimate group of 4 and be just as fabulous.

I rarely throw parties at home especially since my places have always been too small plus I have a lot of pets. My new place however has many parties in its future :D

We typically only hold dinner parties for our family; for our friends, we do a cook-out where they bring whatever they want grilled and we supply the side dishes and drinks. (Bring your own beer though!)

I moved to the city and now my apartment is too small for parties. :(

I really only throw one formal one. I send out little invites for my boyfriend's family and we get together and have apps and drinks. we open presents (because I am with my family out of town for xmas) and it is fun!

It's taken a long time to get comfortable with party throwing. The first couple were always so stressful... especially when dinner is involved. Once you get it down it becomes so much fun!

I can't stop myself from throwing parties, especially of the dinner variety. While my husband and I do love spending the day cooking and preparing our home for friends, I will say that friends who never ever reciprocate with entertaining of some form (even if it's just a quiet evening of drinks) gradually make their way off of our guest lists. Hospitality can't be a one-way street!

Yes, I've had a few since I've been living in my townhouse, although not BIG parties. It's fun to host a holiday get-together or birthday party for a friend though. I plan on having a small holiday party/open house at the beginning of December this year.

I live in an apartment but it's bigger than any of my friends' places, so I always am "volunteered" by them to have the parties. So far I've had 3 or 4.

I haven't thrown a party in my house yet because it's too hard to get everyone together. I'm hoping to throw a Christmas party in my house this year and I'm definitely planning a cocktail party for my best friends 21st birthday next year. It's going to be a really swanky party. I planned and decorated for my low-key wedding and it was gorgeous and perfect.

I throw great parties and love all the work that goes into them too! Since our two oldest sons are cops and work shift work, I do double holidays!!!! We'll have thanksgiving, but when the whole family's together a week later we have Turkeyfest...Santafest....Heartfest....Shamrockfest...Bunnyfest.Flowerfest is Mother's Day and Meatfest is Father's Day because they do so much grillin'!!!!Flagfest is all summer long with Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day.
