When I was a kid, I had the pink striped monogrammed beanbag chair from Lillian Vernon that every other child in America had. It was indulgently comfortable, and the perfect size for a little girl like me, but it certainly didn't win any design awards. Even if you have a chic bean bag chair, I think we should leave the oversize, polypropylene-filled cushions to the kids or the students. They're perfect for 90210's student lounge, where comfort, not design, is the aim. Do you have one?

It's actually a LuvSac, so much more high class
1Nope, I have the adult version: the recliner.
2LOL my oldest daughter has a LuvSac too. It was a good solution for her tiny bedroom.
3Actually, I disagree, to some extent.
4Zanotta, an Italian furniture manufacturer that works with many renowned designers & architects, manufactured the first 'bean bag' in 1968 called the "Sacco".
It was well designed (not the continually reproduced 'ball of beans') and is very comfortable and quite stylish with its multiple sophisticated fabrics options.
The Sacco is still in production production today and celebrated 40 years last year with an anniversary collection of 40 uniquely designed Saccos...only 10 made of each...all inspired by Italian cinema.
Quite a collector's item for furniture & design buffs!
I have seen a couple of them in person and they are wonderful...but so is their pricetag, GULP!
