At my house, I can see a lot of trees, but my main view is of the San Francisco skyline. Sometimes I miss the more idyllic views that I grew up with in a rural community. Do you have a nature view at your home?

I have both. To the North I have a view of the Strip, to the West I have a view of Mt. Charleston and Red Rock Canyon. In all directions are more views of mountains since we're in the valley. I can see to the North, East & West from our bedroom and backyard.
I just love our views, it was the biggest selling point of our home when we bought it.
1I have both too! In the back our deck looks out onto the interior of the block with is just tons of trees and huge flowering bushes, and is super lush. In the front I look out different San Francisco neighborhoods, but we can also see this huge park, Buena Vista, that is an entire hillside of dense trees. I love the urban/nature mix
2Edit: which* is just tons of trees. . .
3Kimpossible: I love the view of Mt. Charleston from my mom's place in Vegas.
My friend has the awful view of the parking lot of her building so we printed a bunch of my European landscape views onto very large transparency sheets and glued them to the windows. Now she has all the light she needs and great views of Europe when she looks out the windows.
4awesome idea Akasha on the transparency sheets!
Mt. Charleston is pretty, it's one of my favorite places to escape to. And I love it when it snows up there it really enhances the view.
5Yes, and I love to look out the window. It's even better at night when I can open the window and also enjoy the soft sounds of nature in the night.
6I can see downtown Columbus, Ohio from my balcony
7We have the forest on two sides of our house, a field on another and we can see the sea from our deck.
8I can see a small farm with some horses and sheep from my kitchen window, the forest from the other windows and a fjord and some mountains from our parking lot.
9I live in the historical district of my city, cobblestone streets and all, so no I don't have any nature views. I am about a block and a half away from the river.
My parents live on a mountain, so I love going home and sitting on the porch!
10My view is of four condo buildings.
11Zivanod: Don't feel bad my view is also of a bunch of condos, and on the other side of a grade school. The worst though is one of the condos now houses my ex, and he can see my front stairs from his porch and will comment on people that come over, whether they are for me or my neighbor.
12Living on a hill I have an incredible views from the front porch...mountains, olive orchards, a small white mediteranian village. Sometimes, when it's clear and sunny, Sierra Nevada.
